“Two brothers in law who went on a sponsored walk wearing comedy mankinis had to be picked up by police – after they were pelted with stones and eggs by residents who told them ‘this is a Muslim area’ and demanded they leave… Steven Ellis, 41, and Jason Hendry, 22, wanted to walk eight miles from Solihull to Birmingham city centre wearing the outfit featured in 2006 film Borat to raise money for Birmingham Dogs’ Home.” – Daily Mail story.

“A blast of the controversial top ten song Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead signalled the start of a party at Danderhall Miners’ Welfare and Social Club in Midlothian yesterday afternoon to celebrate the death of former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher… the event which was expected to attract up to 300 people, began with a number of former miners, who had been on strike during the bitter 1984 dispute, marking the day with their own private toasts.” – From a news item in “The Scotsman”.
“Prophetic in her vision for a stronger Britain as well as a freer world, Thatcher diagnosed the Socialist disease that plagues the globe and offered the cure of smaller government, lower taxation and economic expansion. Her enemies put forth wealth redistribution and equal misery for all with more taxation, regulation and government rule. It is small wonder her enemies celebrate her death in the streets, but all Americans and the world should reflect and hold in wonder the ideals of Margaret Thatcher, while reimplementing them before it is too late.” – Libertarian Terresa Monroe-Hamilton.
“She inherited the sick man of Europe and she transformed the United Kingdom into a superpower” – Brian Mulroney, Canadian PM 1984-1993.
There was no Lady Thatcher when I left England in 1966. “Doctrinaire socialism” had clamped is cold, clammy grip on Britain and its economy in 1964 when Harold Wilson had become Prime Minister, and I came to Canada in 1966 more than a year after initially applying to become a “settler” as we were called in those days.
From The Telegraph, Sept. 10th 2012:
“The T-shirts, on sale at the Trades Union Congress’s annual conference, cost £10 each and boast that union members will want to ‘dance on her grave’ when she dies.”
“The T-shirts, which are wrapped in clear plastic, are being marketed by the Derbyshire Unemployed Workers Centre, an organisation which provides “welfare rights advice services” and which is affiliated to the TUC… One of the garments has an image of Mrs Thatcher’s spitting image puppet, with the words ‘Hey ho the witch is dead’ along side.”
“Instructions” written on the packaging of some of the T-shirts cautions potential buyers to “only wear the T-shirt after Lady Thatcher has died” at which time the purchaser should “open bag and wear Tee shirt immediately”.

“Rupert Murdoch has apologised on Twitter after criticising the “Jewish-owned press” for their coverage of Israel. The News Corp chairman and chief executive said he had been “sternly criticised” for the post and offered his unreserved apologies.
“More people would support a political party that pledged to stop all immigration or promised to reduce the number of Muslims than one that encouraged multiculturalism… the research suggests much of the electorate remains open to views traditionally associated with far-right groups.”
“…by the time Coulson entered Downing Street in May 2010, British media published a spate of disclosures about illegal activities, including phone hacking, at the News of the World under his editorship… even after resigning as the News of the World’s editor, (and then becoming British Prime Minister David Cameron’s communications chief -JG), Coulson continued to closely collaborate with Rupert Murdoch’s media empire… It is already open secret (sic) that Cameron has met Murdoch seven times since he became Prime Minister…”
“…the report could also embarrass Prime Minister David Cameron, who has acknowledged that Britain’s political elite has been dazzled and charmed by the Murdoch’s media clout for years.”
Lord Leveson’s Wikipedia entry describes both he and his wife as “devout Jews”.
And while this does not in any way guarantee that his findings will be skewed in favour of Israeli interests, it definitely gives cause for concern to those of us who are aware of such things.
