Death by China (book and film)

Monday, June 23rd, 2014

These two items are by economics professor Peter Navarro and entrepreneur Greg Autry, and provide a well-documented and profound warning to Americans (and the West) about the threats posed to them by aggressive Chinese economic exploitation, economic and military spying, and outright colonization, both in America and elsewhere.

China using EB-5 investment programs to “buy” America

Thursday, May 8th, 2014

“Many of these projects are focusing on building housing developments. Others are focusing on buying up dairy farms, cattle ranches, meat packing plants, and other sources of American food supplies. Still more are focused on getting a piece of American energy sources. Some of the centers are state run, others are private investment entities… the immigrants running these projects can also expect government sponsored benefits such as federal and state grants (taxpayer dollars) tax breaks or perhaps no sales taxes on supplies and materials they purchase to put the projects in place.”

Dangerous changes in U.S. aircraft-carrier strategy

Sunday, March 30th, 2014

“Antiship ballistic missiles have roughly twice the range of carrier jets… it is clear carriers now operate at great risk in China’s Near Seas.”

The above quote is taken from an extensive analysis appearing in “The National Interest” on March 26, 2014 headed “Are Aircraft Carriers the New West Berlin?”  which refers to the Chinese strategy of designing and producing large numbers of “ship-killer” ballistic missiles.

Food wars – China marches West

Monday, February 10th, 2014

“To better safeguard the country’s food security, China aims to diversify its food imports away from the US and build its own global food supply system by investing in overseas agricultural resources. To secure its food supplies, China is marching west, particularly to Russia, Central Asia and Europe, where food and agricultural resources abound.”

“This year, BGI Shenzhen, China’s largest biotech firm, is collecting 2,000 genomes of the smartest people in the world and hoping to raise the intelligence of their society by at least five percent in the future… they are buying up massive amounts of sequencing machinery and genome related industries which will be used to map genomes and potentially screen for more advanced genetic traits in the future.”

China’s terrifying buy-out of Western businesses and land

Monday, December 9th, 2013

“…there is now a proposal to construct a multibillion dollar ‘China City’ that would span approximately 600 acres in a remote area of New York state… (it) would be located on Yankee Lake in Sullivan County, New York…

“The plans anticipate large numbers of Chinese businesses, plenty of homes for Chinese immigrants, a Chinese high school, a college, a casino and even a theme park. And the first 600 acres is only for ‘phase one’ of the plan. Ultimately, the goal is for ‘China City’ to cover more than 2,000 acres.”

“The decision to give contracts to Zhenhua Heavy Industries and other Chinese government-owned companies is not just short-sighted, but potentially suicidal for the future. As long as contracts are given to the lowest bidder, Chinese government-owned companies will easily be able to undercut any domestic company, since profit is not the primary goal. With the financial backing of Beijing, these companies will be able to destroy the capability of American and other Western companies to compete for contracts not only abroad, but in their own countries as well.”

“The decision to outsource part of the project to China was justified by Arnold Schwarzenegger, government officials and CalTrans on the grounds that it would result in nearly $400 million in savings. Much of this savings was to come from the difference between low Chinese wages and American union wages and benefits. Clearly the decision was made to discriminate against domestic, American workers in order to save some money.”

The Asiana crash in Los Angeles, on July 6th, brought a rather interesting fact to light. On board the South Korean flight which originated in Shanghai, China, were 141 Chinese, of whom 70 were Chinese students and teachers heading to the U.S. to learn English.  One of the destinations was a Christian summer camp. It was to this camp that the three students killed in the crash, and their group, were headed.
