John Baird sucks up to the Chinese Communists

Tuesday, July 26th, 2011

“Baird is 42 and from the age of 15, has been only interested in Conservative politics… He has no background in the job market, never met a payroll, never been in the workforce, no real experience in life.”

“Terrorist front group?”

Tuesday, July 26th, 2011

“…in my opinion, there is nothing in their activities to contradict the notion that the MCC is a media-hungry pressure group fronting for Muslim terrorists by crying “racism!” whenever Canada tries to protect itself, and its citizens, against infiltration and the threat of terrorist violence.”

Lillehammer revisited

Tuesday, July 26th, 2011

“On July 21 1973, a team of Israeli hitmen shot dead a Moroccan waiter, Ahmed Bouchikhi, as he walked home from the cinema with his pregnant wife in the resort, 110 miles north of Oslo… The assassins apparently mistook Bouchikhi for Hassan Salameh, a PLO intelligence chief …”

Bernie Farber fables?

Tuesday, July 26th, 2011

“Joanne is missed by me and my son Jack everyday and it is a shame to have her struggle with cancer thrown around like a political football by a candidate who knows better.” – Widower Michael Robitaille.

“The last thing we need in this election is for aspiring politicians to take the personal tragedy of the death of a young wife and mother and try to use it for their own political gain.”

Australia: The burka ban blues…

Tuesday, July 26th, 2011

The following story is hard to believe – and provides indisputable proof that burkas and any other kind of identity-concealing face coverings should either be banned outright, or subject to removal at police or other reasonable request.  -JG.

U.S. Navy decline: Automation versus personnel

Tuesday, July 26th, 2011

“…officers don’t spend as much time at sea, or in command, as in the past. A lot of time is spent going to school, and away from the chiefs and sailors. For example, while the navy had more ships in the 1930s, than it does today, there were fewer people in the navy. That’s because, back then, 80 percent of navy personnel were assigned to a ship, and had plenty of time to learn how to keep it clean and operational.”

Israel: Agents, Assets and Sayanim

Monday, July 25th, 2011

“The secret to Israel’s force-multiplier in the U.S. is its use of agents, assets and sayanim (Hebrew for volunteers)… With oversight by Israeli case officers (katsas), Israeli operations proceed in the U.S. by using agents, assets and volunteers (sayanim).”

“Much like military reservists, sayanim are activated when needed to support an operation. By agreeing to be available to help Israel, they provide an on-call undercover corps and force-multiplier that can be deployed on short notice… When not aiding an ongoing operation, sayanim gather and report intelligence useful to Israel. This volunteer corps is deeply imbedded in legislative bodies, particularly in the U.S.”

Norway: Anders Breivik a Sabbath Goy?

Sunday, July 24th, 2011

“(Labour Party youth movement leader Eskil) Pedersen stated that he “believes the time has come for more drastic measures against Israel, and (that he) wants the Foreign Minister to impose an economic boycott against the country… Pederson went on to say, “The peace process goes nowhere, and though the whole world expect Israel to comply, they do not. We in Labour Youth will have a unilateral economic embargo of Israel from the Norwegian side.”

“Bravo Newfoundland!”

Saturday, July 23rd, 2011

“In a 3-0 ruling seen as a direct challenge to the Supreme Court of Canada, the Newfoundland Court of Appeal warns of potentially widespread unrest arising from ‘undue incursions by the judiciary into the policy domain of the elected branches of government.’…The court said the separation of powers between legislatures and the judiciary was forged ‘in bloodshed,’ a historical reality that has been forgotten as contemporary judges tinker with legislation.”

“Bambi meets Godzilla”

Saturday, July 23rd, 2011

“The unfortunate Metropolitan Toronto is Bambi in this case, with Mel Lastman and his North York cohorts being Godzilla. Destruction was total, as most of Metro’s key staff and big-numbers men fled in the face of the advancing onslaught. Melzilla then filled all the key positions with his own small-town operators, and the deterioration began… I described many of the woes in the Finance Department in the articles for which I now find myself enjoying early retirement…”
