How the “Cloward-Piven Strategy” is destroying the West

“First proposed in 1966 and named after Columbia University sociologists Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven, the Cloward-Piven Strategy seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse…  In their 1966 article, Cloward and Piven charged that the ruling classes used welfare to weaken the poor; that by providing a social safety net, the rich doused the fires of rebellion. Poor people can advance only when “the rest of society is afraid of them…” – Richard Poe, “The Cloward-Piven Strategy”.

Richard Poe’s article is a vitally important analysis and expose of an ongoing programme first formulated almost 50 years ago, which is now well on the way to achieving its objective of bringing capitalism and free enterprise to their knees by making exhorbitant demands for welfare state services.

In Canada, we recently saw the Cloward-Piven strategy being used in the push for additional welfare handouts due to “special dietary needs” prescribed by accomodating physicians, and in the recent declaration by Toronto City Council that Toronto is a “sanctuary city”, with instructions to city staff to ensure that Toronto’s estimated 200,000 (!) non-status residents can access its soon-to-be-expanded services without fear of being turned over to border enforcement officers for detention and deportation.

There was even a motion passed by Toronto City Council to ask the provincial government to permit non-citizens to vote in Toronto’s local elections, a move which would create a substantial block of voters determined to elect any councillor who will promise to continue and increase their “entitlements”.

The additional cost would be prohibitive, and will be greatly intensified as more and more Third-World opportunists lie and cheat their way into Canada in order to feast on Toronto’s free medical services, housing, welfare, and other freebies – all at the expense of the productive members  of  society, and while protected from any enquiry as to their immigrant status.

A recipe for absolute disaster, and while I doubt that all councillors are aware of Cloward-Piven, we can be sure that those who are, will be rejoicing as their naive and well-meaning colleagues are duped by ‘good intentions’ into advancing its objectives.

In America, the current drive to “legalize” some twenty million “undocumented workers” will place unbearable economic and social strains on a country already staggering under the burden of replacement-level Third World immigration, aided and abetted by a President who refuses to guard America’s borders, and who is determined to create massive dependancy on the part of Blacks, Hispanics and others.

The plan is to confiscate wealth from the productive classes, and use it to buy the loyalty of the great mass of non-productive Americans, joined by millions of state-sponsored “illegals”, in order to guarantee continued Democratic domination of American politics.

This is not just a drive to deliberately create economic collapse, it is also a racial agenda which will have the inevitable effect of pauperizing America’s founding race, and swallowing it up in a vast avalanche of alien and often hostile ‘dependents’.

Whenever your representatives, at all levels, introduce policies which will punish the productive and reward the lazy, you are likely seeing the “Cloward-Piven Strategy” in action.

Be politically aware, and find time to take action to protect your interests.

See also Wayne Allyn Root’s article “Obama’s agenda: Overwhelm the system” appearing in the Las Vegas Review-Journal in June, 2010, which describes how President Obama is implementing the Cloward and Piven agenda here.

Extracts: “Make Puerto Rico a state. Why?…Who’s asking for millions of new welfare recipients and government entitlement addicts in the middle of a depression?…Obama’s goal is to add two new Democrat senators, five Democrat congressman and a million loyal Democratic voters who are dependent on big government.” And, “Legalize 12 million illegal immigrants. Just giving these 12 million potential new citizens free health care alone could overwhelm the system and bankrupt America. But it adds 12 million reliable new Democrat voters who can be counted on to support big government.”

Also, see my article “Voting rights for non-citizens is illogical and destructive” here, it reviews the tie-in with the “sanctuary city” issue, and the likelihood of a positive provincial response regarding the non-citizen voting issue.
