Some quotations about Islam that might be illuminating in terms of the present upheaval over the Orlando massacre – emphasis added by me – six items in total…
“Islam is a religion of peace, period. End of discussion. ‘Violent extremist’ outfits such as ISIS and al-Qaeda kill wantonly, with no real ideological motivation. ISIS and al-Qaeda are thus not Islamic, but actually anti-Islamic – and if they cite Islamic scripture to justify their atrocities, they are ‘hijacking’ and ‘perverting’ Islam. Because we must see these groups as ‘anti-Islam’ rather than Islam, it is acceptable to call a mass-murder attack ‘terrorism’ only if law-enforcement develops some plausible tie to these groups. Otherwise, if a Muslim is involved, stick with ‘workplace violence’ and the like. Finally when an attack committed by a Muslim is too obviously terrorism to deny, call it ‘ISIS-inspired,’ or ‘al-Qaeda-inspired,’ or ‘Hamas political resistance,’ etc. – but by all means do not, absolutely do not, ascribe it to Islam in any way shape or form.” – Andrew C. McCarthy, “Killing Homosexuals Is Not ISIS Law, It Is Muslim Law” – National Review, June 12th, 2016.
“Passivity, and silence as demanded by the politically correct, wants us to believe that we are free, but by staying still we are complicit in the decline of our people, our identity, of our ways. Looking the other way just accelerates our own destruction, and sells our freedom to the highest bidder… Now is the time to be strong, and prove to the whole world that there are still people who won’t give up, who will fight tooth and nail for their rights. We will show that Spain is made up of its people, and no one else, not of multiculturalism or a mob of oligarchs who would sell us out to anyone just to increase their usury-created wealth.” – The New Observer, “Madrid: Thousands Rally against Invasion” May 21st, 2016.
“If we do not get tough and smart real fast, we are not going to have a country anymore. Because our leaders are weak, I said this was going to happen – and it is only going to get worse. I am trying to save lives and prevent the next terrorist attack. We can’t afford to be politically correct anymore… Radical Islam advocates hate for women, gays, Jews, Christians and all Americans. I am going to be a President for all Americans, and I am going to protect and defend all Americans. We are going to make America safe again and great again for everyone.” – Donald Trump press release following the Orlando massacre – Donald Trump web-site, June 12th, 2016.
“A few years ago, Sweden’s Center Party, one of the four parties in the center-right governing coalition at the time, proposed legalizing polygamy. The idea caused outrage; the proposal was dropped. The party’s youth division, however, refused to let go: ‘We think it is important for the individual to decide how many people he or she wants to marry,’ said Hanna Wagenius, head of Center Youth, predicting that polygamy would be legal in ten years, when her generation would enter parliament and make sure of it.” – Judith Bergman, Gatestone Institute – “Polygamy: Europe’s Hidden Statistic” June 5th, 2016.
“In a German documentary from 2013, the journalists found that Muslim men used polygamy as a means to commit fraud and obtain more welfare benefits. The tactic was to have their wives claim at the Employment Center that they were single women who did not know the father of their children. The story works because Germany, like other European countries, has no way of ascertaining the existence of an Islamic marriage, especially as German law does not obligate women to inform the authorities of their marital status.” – Judith Bergman, Gatestone Institute – “Polygamy: Europe’s Hidden Statistic” June 5th, 2016.
“Westerners have a historical tradition of being ready to fight and die for their country. Muslims, on the other hand, are bound together less by patriotism, but mainly by family relations and religion. Intermarrying to protect the family and community from outside non-Islamic influence is much more important to Muslims living in a Western nation than integrating into that nation and supporting it.” – Nicolai Sennels, “The problem of inbreeding in Islam” – PJ Media, Sept. 19th, 2010.
