Five items in total…

“A raucous and aggressive group of gays and lesbians voted at the Pride AGM Tuesday night to capitulate to Black Lives Matter (BLM) Toronto and ban police from marching or participating in future parades… But asked after the vote whether Pride Toronto still welcomes the free police security offered to the yearly parade and other events, board co-chair Alica Hall told me ‘of course’.” – Sue-Ann Levy, “Vote bans cops from taking part in Pride parade” – Toronto Sun, Jan. 17th, 2017.

Chisholm said she was particularly incensed with the Toronto police for recently targeting gay men having sex in Etobicoke’s Marie Curtis park…. She said gay men are ‘families too’ and their use of the public space is as legitimate as anyone else’s.” – Same as above.

“…the absence of a religious exemption to ObamaCare now means that Catholic non-profits are faced with having to pay for ‘gender transition services, hormonal treatments, counseling and a host of surgeries that would remove or transform the sexual organs of men or women transitioning to the other gender.’ This is madness at any level, never mind forcing religious institutions to honor it.” – William Donohue, “Trump must lock in religious exemptions” – Catholic League, Dec. 27th, 2016.

“A lot of trans students, as a result of not only the climate but direct death threats they were receiving, stopped going to class… They’re permitting him to continue teaching despite his intention to discriminate… the university has a responsibility … to ensure that they have an environment which is safe.” – Cassandra Williams, transgender-thingy quoted by Patty Winsa in “He says freedom, they say hate. The pronoun fight is back” – Toronto Star, Jan. 15th, 2017.

“It is possible that kids who have a tendency to get obsessed or fixed on something may latch on to gender… Just because kids are saying something doesn’t necessarily mean you accept it, or that it’s true, or that it could be in the best interests of the child… A four-year-old might say that he’s a dog – do you go out and buy dog food?” – Dr. Kenneth Zucker, quoted by Sharon Kirkey in “Are autistic children more likely to believe they’re transgender? Controversial Toronto expert backs link” – National Post, Jan. 12th, 2017.
