“We [Charlottesville police] were ordered to bring the rival groups together. As soon as they were in contact with each other, we were told to stand down. It was outrageous. We weren’t allowed to arrest anyone without asking the mayor first. We weren’t even allowed to stop the driver as he sped away… The event was being set up as far back as at least May and it went like clockwork… We wanted to do our job and keep the peace. But these mother******s in charge really want to destroy America.” (1).
“The ridiculous campaign by virtually every media outlet, every Democrat and far too many squishy Republicans to label Trump some kind of racist and Nazi sympathizer is beginning to have the stink of an orchestrated smear.” (2).
Attacks on Trump are switching into ever higher gear, free speech rights are being gleefully trampled by universities and the media, and as Robert Spencer wrote today, “The Left is mounting an all-out assault against the freedom of speech, and using Charlottesville to try to crush all dissent”.
A threatening atmosphere is developing everywhere as the leftists threaten to smash anyone who disagrees with them, and various right-wing factions are preparing to test this. And you don’t have to be in America; copy-cat “sympathy” demonstrations – sometimes featuring both sides – are popping up all across the Western world.
Ezra Levant and his Rebel Media have come under vicious attack also, because of fired reporter Faith Goldy’s presence at Charlotteville. Several high-profile resignations have greatly weakened the organization, and Conservative leaders across Canada have been “invited” by their political opponents to condemn Levant or face whithering condemnation.
Both Federal leader Andrew Scheer and Ontario leader Patrick Brown caved promptly, indicating to me that failed leadership candidate Kellie Leitch now has a great opportunity to set up a rational and realistic alternative. And Brown’s support for “gay rights” and rejection of “social conservatives” have already pretty-much destroyed the party’s base, leaving another vacuum at the provincial level.
I carry no torch for Levant, and have always noticed how eager he is to score $$$ for every single project he initiates. According to my observations, money has always seemed to be at least as important to him as the message, so it may well be true what Caolan Robertson has to say. But with Charlotteville, things seem to have been magnified out of all proportion…
I haven’t seen anything conclusively proving whether or not the events at Charlotteville were planned that way, although I am greatly impressed by the words of the unidentified police officer quoted above, and Fox News reporter Doug McKelway’s on-site observations supporting them.
As Baxter Dmitry says in his article (1), “The New World Order, led in the United States by elite operatives Obama, Podesta, Soros, Clinton and company, are pulling out all the stops to create division through chaos and destruction… They are manipulating and controlling newsworthy events in order to maintain power and control over the public, and to swing public opinion.”
I have no doubt that this event, which will provide a rallying-cry for on-going massive civil unrest in the future, saved someone a lot of trouble if it did, in fact, just happen “all by itself”.
