LGBTQ “hysterical” reaction over proposed sex-ed changes

Sex-ed letter a hysterical reaction says reader

“For those of us in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and queer (LGBTQ) community, this is a nightmare scenario as far as politics goes.” Indeed!
If Doug Ford is guilty of the “courting of a virulently homophobic and transphobic conservative base” then why did he got rid of sex-ed critic Tanya Granic Allen right after she boosted him into the leadership position?
“Removing sex-ed and LGBTQ material from educational institutions is an act of discrimination against our community”? Leaving it in may well create gender confusion among “straight” children, who constitute the vast majority of our younger students.
If our “LGBTQ community” is so upset about losing control of sex-ed content, one may reasonably wonder what their agenda is; this surprisingly hysterical reaction certainly invites speculation.
