China flexes its muscles

In its “Comment” article “Trespassers will be Prosecuted: China’s latest Billboard in the South China Sea”, India’s Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses tells us that the Hainan Peoples Congress has passed maritime regulations giving it the right to “board, inspect, seize, deport, or force ships to alter course out of areas within China’s claimed territorial waters.”

Although Hainan is China’s smallest province, it includes the large, resource-rich island of the same name, the location of which gives the People’s Republic the necessary excuse to claim such islands as the Paracels, Spratlys and so forth.

As America’s power and influence wanes, China and its other rivals feel more and more emboldened.  And countries such as Japan and Taiwan, increasingly being stripped of the American defensive umbrella, will begin to seriously consider their options with regards to the acquisition of nuclear weapons.

Many world-threatening negatives enter into play.

The sooner America dumps its parasitical, war-mongering ally Israel, the sooner it will be able to look after its own interests and restore its power and prestige.

The wheels of fate are turning.
